Unintelligently designed museum

The Creation Museum opened to the public in Petersburg, Kentucky earlier this week, offering visitors a different take than the natural history museums around the country. This museum, built by Answers in Genesis, chronicles the history of earth from the Biblical creation, which, of course, took place in 6 days just 6,000 years ago.

According to the museum's website, 4,000 people visited the museum on its first day.

For a skeptical peak inside the world of 40 percent of the country (that's the percent that believes in creationism), read Salon.com's article "Inside the Creation Museum."

To learn why intelligent design is weird science, keep an eye out for the August issue of U.S. Catholic. We'll have an interview with Francisco Ayala, a Catholic scientist who has served on the Pontifical Council for the Sciences.

Intelligent design is great philosophy of science. You can't be Catholic and not believe in intelligent design. Intelligent design does not conflict with any scientific facts.

ID is a philosopy, certainly nothing to do with any science. Don't confuse the two.

It does involve science, it is philosophy of science. "certainly nothing to do with any science", you are confused one.
