Serious sin

This is just too bizarre to pass up: A couple (no word if married or not) were arrested for having sex in a confessional in Italian Cathedral. They were caught in the act during morning Mass after a late night of drinking, Reuters reported.

They have returned to Confession, but thankfully this time it was to repent and ask the forgiveness of the local bishop. According to the couple's lawyer, they were granted forgiveness.

The bishop also celebrated a "Mass of reparation" in the cathedral.

Apparently nothing is sacred anymore. Or is it that we humans are truly fallen? Thank God for forgiveness!
