The Internet is where people are seeking answers to their questions about life, God, and the church, a blogging Catholic nun told The Chicago Tribune recently. Sister Julie Vieira, I.H.M. said she didn't originally think of her blog, A Nun's Life, as a ministry, but now people come to her asking spiritual questions as well as what it is like to be a young, modern nun.

The stereotype of a docile nun in a habit isn't true, Vieria explained to the Tribune, and proceeded to talk about her favorite beer, the music on her iPod, and Ninja Nuns. She also links to 30 other blogs by Catholic nuns.
