Climate change on climate change?

After being al-gored by public opinion, it could be our duly elected hot-air production units in Washington are finally looking into the inconvenient truth on global warming.

Here's another shift: in recent years homeless people in some U.S. cities have been forced to sue in order to protect their "free speech" rights, that is, to allow them to panhandle on public thoroughfares. Here's a wonderfully compassionate bloke who has found a reason to sue homeless people for, well, bein' homeless. Just more evidence that satire becomes increasingly impossible in the US of A.

And DNA does it again in a uniquely depressing story about justice and liberty in America. Please note this one Texas county has had as many people exonerated because of new DNA testing as NY and Illinois COMBINED. Moral of the story? Something tragically wrong with US justice system? The death penalty must put down? Or just: Do not, repeat, do not get arrested for ANYTHING in Texas. . . without a good lawyer or well-connected friends, that is.
