THE CLARETIAN MISSIONARIES OF CAMEROUN CELEBRATE THE “BIBLE FESTIVAL”

Mar 2, 2021 | ACLA, Apostolate, Cameroun, Parish Ministry

Yaoundé, Cameroun. On 28 February, the Claretian Missionaries of Cameroun celebrated the Bible Festival in two parishes of Yaoundé: the parish of Saints Peter and Paul in Simbock and the Anglophone parish of St. Joseph in Mvog-Ada.

This year, the Evangelium Bible Diaries arrived late due to the pandemic, but the parishioners showed a real hunger for the Word of God and came to the meeting.

The Bible Diaries published by the Claretian Missionaries of Cameroun are officially distributed in Mali, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Chad and Cameroon. The objective remains to proclaim the Good News by all possible means.

This year, the Biblical Pastoral Ministry chose the theme “Proclaim the Good News”. This pastoral ministry celebrates the Word of God and spreads it by all possible means, especially through social networks: WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, etc. The Bible Festival is an occasion to celebrate, to preach the Good News and to encourage people to live and practice this Word in their daily lives.
