Madrid, Spain. 15,000 youth from all over Europe and other continents gathered together in Madrid for the 41st European Meeting organized and led by the Community of Taizé from 28 December to 1 January 2019. Our parish, the Nuestra Sra del Espino was one of the parishes who received the pilgrims. They have not just participated in the personal, communal prayers but also lived with foster families and volunteers from different parishes in Madrid. They have lived and discovered the presence of God through workshops and common prayers. They also celebrated together the New Year in a different way.
