Basmata, India. On 15 February 2026, Sujit Kisku, CMF, of the Delegation of Kolkata, was ordained to the Sacred Order of Priesthood at St. Claret Church, Basmata. The ordination was solemnly conferred by His Excellency, Julius Marandi, D.D., Bishop of Roman Catholic Diocese of Dumka, during a prayerful Eucharistic celebration.
In his homily and through the rites of ordination, the Bishop invoked the Holy Spirit upon the ordinand and entrusted him with the ministry of proclaiming the Word of God, celebrating the Sacraments, and shepherding the People of God.
Priests, religious, family members, parishioners, and well-wishers gathered to witness this significant moment for the Congregation and the local Church. The faithful prayed that Fr.
