Assembly of Perú-Bolivia

Cochabamba, Bolivia. From the 19 – 21 of June the Assembly of the Province of Perú-Bolivia took place at the “Mary, Teacher of Our Spiritual Life” Center of Spirituality in Cochabamba-Bolivia, presided over by Fr. Emmanuel Edeh, CMF. Consultor General.

Participating were 41 missionaries from all the communities of the Province and two invited from the Mission of North Potosí.

The Assembly was held in a serene and fraternal environment which helped to respond to the objectives of the convocation.

After two years of being a new Province, the Assembly was a time to review the personnel situation, community life, formation, the apostolate and economy. It dealt seriously with themes such as a revision of positions, vocational youth ministry, and the continuation of the process for a possible integration of the mission of North Potosí with the Province of Perú-Bolivia. In addition, they tackled issues concerning the Mission Procure, JPIC (Justice and Peace), Lay Claretians, and the restructuring of the Province.

The Eucharist on the 20th of June was presided over by Bishop Tito Solari, SDB, Archbishop of Cochabamba. The Assembly concluded with a Eucharist on June 21st.
