Dec 15, 2025 | Claret Way, St. Charles Lwanga

Mombasa, Kenya. About 230 young people from six Claretian parishes in Kenya gathered at Holy Family Parish, Kiembeni, for the Claret Way Youth Camp 2025, held from 9 to 14 December 2025. The event brought together youth from Kaptum, Chebororwa, Kerwa, Ngaremara, Shanzu, and Kiembeni for faith formation and missionary renewal.

The camp opened with a full day dedicated to the Claret Way, introducing participants to the life of St. Anthony Mary Claret, the Claretian Congregation, and its mission. The youth were encouraged to embrace the core values of knowing, loving, serving, and praising God through the Claret Way network.

In the following days, seminars addressed spiritual growth, faith, moral values, mental health, and relationships, offering the youth guidance for their personal and Christian life. A highlight of the camp was the pilgrimage to the Holy Ghost Cathedral in Mombasa, where participants passed through the Holy Door of Hope, celebrated Mass, and received the sacrament of reconciliation.

The gathering concluded with a closing Mass on Sunday, after which the youth returned to their parishes renewed in faith and commitment to mission.
