Claretian Volunteers at the Dominican-Haitian border

May 13, 2011 | Claret With You, Claretian Family, Community Life

Jimaní, R.D. The Program of Claretian Volunteers from the Antilles is a concrete response of the Claretian Delegation of the Antilles in the face of the dramatic situation of Haitian immigrants and Dominican nationals at the Dominican-Haitian border after the ill-fated earthquake.
Helped by the PROMICLA Foundation (Promoción Misionera Claretiana de Antillas) it offers …

… to lay volunteers the opportunity to live an experience of missionary solidarity by means of being inserted and living in these rejected communities.

In the Shared Mission, the Claretian Missionaries and Lay Claretians carry out an integral evangelization by means of works of social and ecclesial promotion. The Program offers various ways of being a Claretian Volunteer.

The Claretians of the Antilles want to make known this means of evangelization which welcomes any person who feels called to give a year of service to the mission. For more information see: www.voluntariadoclaretianoantillas.com
