Bilbao, Spain. On Saturday, October 26, 2019, Students Jobish Kuriakose Kulathumpattu, CMF and Sarin Nadupparampil John, CMF received the Order of Deacons through the imposistion of the hands of Msgr. Joseba Segura Etxezarraga, Auxiliary Bishop of Bilbao, at the Parish of San Rafael Arcángel in Bilbao.
This ordination was carried out on the day of the Claretian Family of the Province of Euskal Herria, which is celebrated every year commemorating the Feast of Saint Anthony Mary Claret.
In his homily, Auxiliary Bishop Joseba Segura insisted on the virtues that should characterize the deacons. He urged them to welcome and accompany especially the poorest, and to take special care of the evangelical service for all people.
The Claretian Missionaries, Lay Claretians and collaborators from the different apostolate centers of the Province accompanied Jobish and Sarin on this special day.
