Easter Online Claretian Family Gathering

Mexico City, Mexico. An Easter online Claretian Family gathering, mainly from the Americas, took place on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020, organized by the Claretian Province of Mexico. The present pandemic that brought the wave of online meetings these past days inspired this joyful family Easter encounter.

Besides the joy of meeting, each participant shared how they are living the current situation. They were happy to hear the testimony and the creativity of brothers and sisters who, even in confinement, remain or do not extinguish their missionary spirit, who decide to go out to meet others, especially those who are suffering the most now.

Father General, Mathew Vattamattam, CMF joined them and shared with them the current global situation of the Congregation in this time of the pandemic.

At the end of his note, Sch. Edgardo Tapia, CMF, the proponent of the online gathering, he said:

“Today, we have all witnessed that we lovingly share life with many men and women, different but always in communion. Many times we are not aware that the richness of our family is in each one of us who form it, that love is our common language, and that, in short, we will never let ourselves be robbed of fraternity because that is what we have learned from the Risen Master.”
