Encounter of Missionary Brothers in Poland

Dec 4, 2012 | Polska

Polonia Hermanos WWroclaw, Poland. Between the 26th and 28th of November 2012 at the Claretian Formation House of Wroclaw (Province of Poland) the final Encounter of the Missionary Brothers took place.

Six brothers participated, coordinated by Fr. Robert Kycia, CMF, Provincial Prefect of Formation and mentor of the Brothers. The group participated with the seminarians and community prayers (Mass, Office, Rosary). The participants also visited the Claretian Community of St. Lawrence in Wroclaw and participated in the parish mass.

The Encounter had a formative character. The main part of the conferences focused on Claretian spirituality, following Christ according to the charism of Claret, and communication in religious community. A reflection was held on the theme of the Year of the Faith in our religious communities, giving special attention to the Claretian and fraternal dimension of religious life.

The Encounter was an occasion for prayer and community, fraternal sharing, a tour of the city of Wroclaw (Old Town and the new sports stadium built for Euro 2012), conversation, and an interchange of ideas.

The next Encounter of this group will be held in the first half of March and will be joined to the Annual National Pilgrimage of Brothers to the Sanctuary of Jasna Góra of Czestochowa.
