Euskal Herria Claretian Family Retreat for the Beginning of the Course

Sep 23, 2018 | Claretian Family, Euskal Herria

Salvatierra, Spain. Last Saturday, September 22, the Claretian Family of the Province of Euskal Herria met in Salvatierra to celebrate a day of retreat at the beginning of the course. After the welcome and opening prayer, Fr. Carlos Sanchez, CMF offered a rich conference proposing Fr. Claret as a model of missionary holiness. He made them know more of the keys that shaped the life of Fr. Claret, which in turn would become for the participants a stimulus in order to live with audacity one’s missionary vocation at the present time. Then they had time to share in small groups the echoes that Carlos’ words had given them.

At midday, they celebrated the Eucharist, in which they especially celebrated the 50 years of priesthood of Frs. Jesús Ros and Jon Koldo Ibarrondo, CMFF, though the latter was absent due to health issues.

They ended the day with a fraternal meal. They thanked God for the beautiful family day and especially for the gift of faith and the Claretian vocation received.
