Mexico. Like every year, the Clotet Centre celebrated on April 6, the anniversary of the death of Fr. Jaime Clotet, titular of the Centre.

Fr. Alejandro Cerón presided over the Eucharist, accompanied by Frs. José Juan Tapia, Alejandro Quezada, René Pérez, Francisco Díaz, Raúl Lázaro and Fernando Pinto. Fr. Francisco Díaz addressed the community of the deaf with their sign language, highlighting the figure of Fr. Clotet. After that a festival was held that started with some welcome words by Bro. Adolfo Villaseñor. At the presidential table were the earlier mentioned Claretian Missionaries and the Claretian Sisters Teresa, Irene and Sofía, from the community of the Dispensary. The Lic. Salvador Campusano, director of the promotion of the Subsidiarity, A.C., was also present.

The students of the Institute performed various dances and recited a poem entitled “Silence,” which served to attune us with the feeling of the deaf.

The students of the workshop of silk-screen printing and painting gave a work done by themselves to the persons at the presidential table.

Father Provincial pronounced some words of thanksgiving to all the present and put an end to the celebration.
