Haití. On Sunday May 17, the Nuncio of His Holiness, Mons. Bernardito Auza, conferred the priestly ordination to the Claretian Derilus Beauplan, first Claretian priest of Haiti. The Claretians travelled to Verrettes, Derilus’ home town, to attend the ordination. Among them was the Major Superior, Fr. Hector Cuadrado. There were Claretians from Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. The event was a moment of blessing and joy for relatives and friends.

One month earlier, on April 16, Mons. Rubén González, CMF conferred also the priestly ordination, in Bayamon, to the Puerto Rican Claretian Daniel de Jesús Colón. This celebration was attended by faithful from all the Christian communities where the Claretians are.
