“Fussimanya”: the application of Claretian-inspired prayers and songs

Apr 13, 2021 | ICT, Spirituality and Community Life

This application is called Fussimanya in allusion to the Virgin of Fussimanya, whose hermitage is located about seven kilometers from Sallent, the hometown of St. Anthony Mary Claret, and that ended up being a symbol of the Marian devotion of our Founder and, in general, of his prayer experience. For this reason, this Claretian prayer book that we now present is called Fussimanya.

Its objective is to offer the Claretian Missionaries and all those who feel in communion with us an easy-to-use application in which some Claretian-inspired prayers and songs are collected, in addition to the basic Christian prayers.

The prayer book is divided into 12 thematic sections:

  1. Basic Christian prayers
  2. Heart of Mary
  3. St. Anthony M. Claret
  4. Congregation
  5. Vocations
  6. Sick and Deceased
  7. Meetings and gatherings
  8. General Chapters
  9. Holy Rosary
  10. Latin Prayers
  11. Claretian Texts
  12. Claretian songs

The application appears in Spanish and English, but soon other languages used in the Congregation will be added, in order to make the material accessible to as many Claretians as possible. We hope that it will be useful, not only for personal prayer but also for encounters of various kinds.

May Our Lady of the Smile help us to be men of prayer, so that we may truly be “witnesses and messengers of the joy of the Gospel”.

Available for Android and iOS.
