\"\"<\/span><\/strong>Barcellona, Spagna.<\/strong> Il 20 ottobre, nel pomeriggio, \u00e8 iniziata la celebrazione della beatificazione dei 109 martiri Clarettiani. La prima riunione della famiglia Clarettiana \u00e8 stata una veglia di preghiera presieduta da P. Mathew Vattamattam, nostro Superiore Generale, presso il Santuario del Cuore di Maria, a Barcellona.
Nel commento alle letture, ha osservato che la beatificazione che si celebrer\u00e0 sabato mattina nella Sacra Famiglia \u00e8 “un evento di fede”. Ha anche spiegato che i martiri devono essere conosciuti uno ad uno, con i loro nomi, perch\u00e9 “non stiamo parlando di miti, ma di persone specifiche provenienti da famiglie della nostra terra, educate nei nostri centri di formazione, uomini che hanno portato il tesoro della vocazione missionaria nei vasi di terra della loro umanit\u00e0 “.<\/p>\n

Per questo, ha sottolineato il “cammino” che la comunit\u00e0 Clarettiana ha fatto negli ultimi 109 giorni, fissandosi ogni giorno su uno dei nomi dei 109 beati attraverso il sito web della beatificazione: www.109cmf.org<\/a><\/u>
Il P. Generale ha ricordato che “oggi, in varie parti del mondo, viviamo persecuzioni a causa del Vangelo”, anche in aree di conflitto o di frontiera dove esiste la presenza di Clarettiani. E ha spiegato che se oggi siamo in grado di accettare questa persecuzione “con umilt\u00e0 e coraggio, sperimenteremo, come i nostri martiri, la straordinaria fecondit\u00e0 che nasce dalla croce di Ges\u00f9”.<\/p>\n

La celebrazione \u00e8 iniziata con una processione di palme, simbolo del martirio, aperta dagli studenti Clarettiani. Un gesto che ricorda che un gran numero dei martiri dei Missionari Clarettiani sono giovani studenti del seminario di Cervera, alcuni di 16 anni o poco pi\u00f9. In un’atmosfera di raccoglimento, il nome dei 109 martiri \u00e8 stato pronunciato uno ad uno. Le immagini di tutti i martiri hanno presieduto la celebrazione. Mentre si proclamavano i nomi, sull’altare \u00e8 stata accesa una candela per ogni martire, formando a terra la forma del numero “109”.<\/p>\n

Nella veglia si \u00e8 pregato anche per i vari gruppi della famiglia Clarettiana e perch\u00e9 la testimonianza di fede dei martiri li rafforzi di fronte alle difficolt\u00e0 pi\u00f9 estreme. Soprattutto per i missionari Clarettiani che sono malati o anziani, per i giovani in formazione, per coloro che soffrono persecuzione e per i laici che condividono il carisma Clarettiano in tutto il mondo. Una richiesta di essere tutti “costruttori di pace e riconciliazione nelle comunit\u00e0 stesse e nella societ\u00e0”.<\/p>\n

L’inizio della celebrazione della beatificazione \u00e8 stato un momento di incontro internazionale della famiglia Clarettiana, delle varie istituzioni e gruppi fondati o ispirati al carisma di Sant’Antonio Maria Claret. Nigeria, Filippine, Guinea Equatoriale, Messico, Honduras, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Argentina, Cile, Per\u00f9, Stati Uniti, Canada, Corea o Indonesia sono alcuni dei paesi che verranno rappresentati alla beatificazione. Tra questi ci sono quattordici vescovi Clarettiani. Sono arrivati a Barcellona pure clarettiani di tutta Europa, i rappresentanti degli Organismi del coordinamento Internazionale dei Missionari Clarettiani, dei cinque continenti e del Governo Generale.<\/p>\n

Vi \u00e8 anche una vasta rappresentanza femminile della famiglia Claretiana, come la Superiora Generale delle Missionarie dell\u2019Istituzione Clarettiana, M. Gracia Garc\u00eda-Baquero, la Superiora Generale delle Missionarie Clarettiane, Jolanta Mar\u00eda Kafkala, la Direttrice Generale di Filiazione Cordimariana, Mar\u00eda del Mar \u00c1lvarez, e religiose di altre congregazioni.
Fra gli assistenti vi sono anche alcuni dei parenti dei martiri e dei loro paesi d’origine che assisteranno alla beatificazione domani.<\/p>\n

La veglia di preghiera si \u00e8 svolta nel Santuario del Cuore di Maria, uno dei centri di riferimento della comunit\u00e0 Clarettiana situato nel quartiere di Gr\u00e0cia. Dopo Vic, dove Sant’Antonio Maria Claret fond\u00f2 la Congregazione nel 1849, quella di Gr\u00e0cia \u00e8 la seconda casa della Congregazione fondata nel 1859. Da allora i Clarettiani hanno mantenuto la loro presenza a Barcellona. Attualmente nella stessa localit\u00e0 si trova il Santuario parrocchiale Coraz\u00f3n de Mar\u00eda, il Collegio Claret Barcellona, due comunit\u00e0 Clarettiane ed \u00e8 sede del governo della Provincia dei Missionari Clarettiani della Catalogna. La Chiesa ospita anche i resti di uno dei cofondatori della Congregazione, P. Jaume Clotet. Alcuni dei martiri appartengono anche a questa comunit\u00e0.<\/p>\n

arcelona, Spain. <\/span><\/strong>The celebration of the beatification of the 109 Claretian martyrs began in the afternoon of October 20 with a prayer vigil presided over by Fr. Mathew Vattamattam, our Superior General. Father General remarked that the beatification to be celebrated this Saturday morning in the Holy Family is “an event of faith”. He also explained that the martyrs must be recognized one by one, by their names, because “we are not talking about myths, but about specific people, coming from families of our land, educated in our formation centers, men who carried the treasure of themissionary vocation in earthen vessels of their humanity. “<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the same reason why in the Claretian communities, in the past 109 days, they were introduced with a martyr’s name each day with its corresponding biography presented through the website dedicated for the beatification:<\/span> www.109cmf.org<\/a><\/p>\n

Furthermore, Father General recalled that “today, in various parts of the world, we live persecution because of the Gospel”, also in areas in conflict or border where today there is Claretian presence. And he explained that if today we are able to accept this persecution “with humility and courage, we will also experience, like our martyrs, the extraordinary fecundity that springs from the cross of Jesus.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The celebration began with a procession of palms, symbol of martyrdom, carried by Claretian students. A gesture that remembers that a great number of the martyrs of the Claretian Missionaries are young students of the seminary of Cervera, some of of them 16 years of age or a little more. In an atmosphere of recollection, the name of the 109 martyrs has been pronounced one by one. The images of all the martyrs have presided over the celebration. While proclaiming the names, a candle for each martyr has been lit on the altar, forming on the ground the form of the number “109”.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the vigil, prayers for the various branches of the Claretian family were also offered so that the testimony of faith of the martyrs would strengthen them in the face of the most extreme difficulties. A prayer was also said especially for the Claretian missionaries who are ill or older, for the young in formation, for those who suffer persecution and the laity who share the Claretian charism throughout the world. And a petition to be all “builders of peace and reconciliation in the communities themselves and in society” was also said.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The beginning of the celebration of the beatifications was a moment of international encounter of the Claretian family, the various institutions and groups founded or inspired by the charism of St. Anthony Mary Claret. Nigeria, the Philippines, Equatorial Guinea, Mexico, Honduras, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, the United States, Canada, Korea or Indonesia are some of the countries that will be represented at the beatification. Among them are fourteen Claretian bishops.Claretians from all over Europe have also come to Barcelona, the representatives of the International Coordination Bodies of the Claretian Missionaries of the five continents and the General Government.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is also a wide representation of women from the Claretian family, such as the Superior General of the Missionary Sisters of the Claretian Institute, M. Gracia Garc\u00eda-Baquero, Superior General of the Religious of Mary Immaculate Claretian Missionary Sisters, Jolanta Mar\u00eda Kafkala, General Director of the Daughters of the Holy and Immaculate Heart of Mary Cordimarian Filiation, Mar\u00eda del Mar \u00c1lvarez, and sisters of other congregations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of the relatives of the martyrs and people from the native places of the martyrs will also be present.<\/span><\/p>\n

The prayer vigil was held in the Sanctuary of the Heart of Mary, one of the reference centers of the Claretian community located in the neighborhood of Gr\u00e0cia. After Vic, where St. Anthony Mary Claret founded the Congregation in 1849, that of Gr\u00e0cia is the second house of the Congregation founded in 1859. Since then the Claretians have maintained their presence in Barcelona. Currently in the same location is the parish Santuari Cor de Mar\u00eda, Claret School of Barcelona, two Claretian communities, and is the seat of government of the Province of Catalunya. The Church also hosts the remains of one of the cofounders of the Congregation, Father Jaime Clotet. Some of the martyrs also belong to this community.<\/span><\/p>\n
