It’s time to return to our communities

Jun 10, 2022 | Congo

Mbanza-Ngungu, Democratic Republic of Congo. We welcomed the call of our XXVI Chapter to continue the dialogue between ourselves and those with whom we share the mission. We have put ourselves in tune with the dream of the Congregation. We have made our own plans, contextualizing them in the reality of our Delegation, and we have defined the commitments so that they may become a reality at the end of the next three-year period (Cf. QC 97).

From the Spirituality Centre “Saint Gerard” in Kola, we feel the experience of the disciples of Emmaus: “Were not our hearts burning with joy as he conversed with us and explained to us the book of life?” We feel the urgency of returning to our communities to share this joy, to proclaim the life of the Risen Christ who continues to walk with us, and to set out boldly on the road that leads us to become a strong and dynamic Delegation rooted in Christ and daring in the mission.ç

The V Delegation Assembly of Congo Independent Delegation with the theme “Rooted in Christ, let’s walk and dialogue for the Delegation of Congo,” which started on Sunday, June 5, 2022, presided over by Fr. Henry Omonisaye, CMF, and Bro. Carlos Verga, CMF, finally concluded on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
