Jun 23, 2019 | Bible Ministry, Claret Publishing Group, MICLA

Panama City, Panama. From Monday 17 to June 20, 2019, the members of the Editorial Team of the Biblical Journal met at the Provincial Curia of Centroamérica in Panama: Alberto Rossa, José María Vigil, Alejandro Quezada, José Vidal and Fredy Cabrera, who recently joined the Team, to fully assume the 2022 edition of the Journal.

One of the agenda items was to read the comments made on the Biblical Diary by some Claretians of the American continent, in addition to the comments made by the Rebiclar Team (Claretian Biblical Network of America). Later, they recommended that as Editorial Team it is their responsibility to maintain the charismatic line of the Biblical Diary, although they sell fewer copies. They also commented on the purpose of their meeting: “In order to review the path taken in the Biblical Project of MICLA, materialized in the Journal, the Editorial Team will discuss the present and future of it, considering the consultation that was made to the Prefects of Apostolate and Rebulling “

Throughout the Meeting they talked on the need to plan the Diario Biblico’s work for 3 years, the advantages of reducing the number of commentators; the urgency to strengthen the relationship between text, web and App; the viability of organizing biblical contests with a prize, among many things.

Taking advantage of the visit of Fr. Ismael Montero, CMF, Provincial of Centroamérica and President of the Board of Directors, they commented on several issues, among them, the original “charism” of the Biblical Diary, described in the “historical memory” and the active participation of the Provinces and the Prefects of Apostolate in the Biblical Project of MICLA.

On Wednesday, June 19, Fr. Fredy Ramírez, CMF interviewed Fr. Alberto Rossa and Alejandro Quezada, CMFF at the Radio Claret Digital on the origin and present state of Diario Biblico, highlighting the importance of the Word of God in the life of the Christian Communities.

On Thursday the 20th, they met with ten lay people from the National Shrine who shared with them the way they use the Diario Biblico, the experiences they have had with the Word. They congratulated them for how well done the Diario Biblico is and for maintaining a very accessible price.
