“Missionary Paella”

Nov 10, 2011 | Community Life, Parish Ministry

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands (Spain). This past Saturday, the 22nd of October, the Parish Del Pilar de Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain) celebrated a “Missionary Paella” during a Parish Mission.

The activity took place in the patio of the Parish and was an occasion of afternoon fun and great enthusiasm in support of our Claretian Missionaries. In addition to the long awaited paella, the participants also enjoyed local desserts prepared especially for the occasion.

The funds raised at the activity will be destined for the Claretian Volunteer Program (PROMICLA) in the Antilles. In the name of the Missionaries and Lay Claretians of the Caribbean, this volunteer program is very grateful to the Del Pilar parish community and its pastor, Fr. Juan Carlos Monroy, CMF for this generous gesture of solidarity.
