All the new Lay Claretians participate in their respective communities, serving in diverse pastoral and ministries: Catechesis, Youth Pastoral, Social Pastoral, Health Pastoral, and Liturgy. This service is carried out in shared mission with the Claretian Missionaries in different projects, namely: Karla Valdivieso and Juan Carlos Díaz participate in the vocational promotion of discernment of Lay Claretians; Isabel Trochez, Lilian Vanessa Vásquez, Aminta Banegas and Karla Valdivieso participate in the biblical pastoral; in media, Leticia Padilla and Rut Dalila Vásquez; in SOMI-JPIC, Juan Carlos Díaz, Rut Dalila Vásquez and Leticia Padilla; and in activities of New Generations and Claretian Youth, Andrea Zavala and Gustavo Hernández.

The community is named “Father Manuel de Jesús Subirana”, in memory of the missionary who arrived in Honduras in 1850, where he undertook his missionary work under the auspices of Archbishop Antonio María Claret and knew how to bring the Gospel to life in different sectors of the country.
