New Installations in the house of Barbastro

Jun 3, 2010 | Brothers, Claretian Family, Martyrs of Barbastro

Barbastro, Spain. The twenty new rooms fitted out in the house of Barbastro to receive Claretians and qualified pilgrims were used for the first time last week for the formators from different zones of the Congregation, accompanied by Fr. Mathew Vattamattam, General Prefect of Formation.
Fr. Mathew himself wrote to Fr. Manuel Tamargo, Major Superior of the Province of Santiago, expressly thanking him “for all the love that your Province has placed in keeping alive the memory of our brothers and of their heroic confession of faith (…).
Our stay has been very pleasant, we have felt at home: the community has dealt with us in a really loving and fraternal way. To stay in the middle of Barbastro has made it possible for us to spend longer time in the Crypt and in the Museum and to be able to pray every day in front of the sepulcher of our Martyrs. Thank you indeed, on behalf of the formators!”

The persons in charge of this house will inform you in greater detail about these new installations and about the abundant on-going initiatives to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the martyrdom of our brothers.
