CLARET WAY 2025 YOUTH CAMP
Mombasa, Kenya. Around 230 young people from six Claretian parishes in Kenya gathered at the Holy Family Parish in Kiembeni for the Claret Way 2025 Youth Camp, held from 9 to 14 December 2025. The event brought together young people from Kaptum, Chebororwa, Kerwa, Ngaremara, Shanzu and Kiembeni for faith formation and missionary renewal.

The camp began with a full day dedicated to the Claret Way, during which participants were introduced to the life of Saint Anthony Mary Claret, the Claretian Congregation and its mission. The young people were encouraged to embrace the fundamental values of knowing, loving, serving and praising God through the Claret Way network.

 

THE YOUNG PEOPLE RETURNED TO THEIR COMMUNITIES RENEWED

In the following days, seminars were held on spiritual growth, faith, moral values, mental health, and relationships, offering the young people guidance for their personal and Christian lives. One of the highlights of the camp was the pilgrimage to the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Mombasa, where participants passed through the Holy Door of Hope, celebrated Mass, and received the sacrament of reconciliation. The gathering concluded with a closing Mass on Sunday, after which the young people returned to their parishes renewed in faith and commitment to the mission.
