Chicago, USA. On Monday, May 10th, 2010, two of our students, Peeter Pedroza, CMF (left) and Manny Lopez, CMF (right), were ordained deacons by Bishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller, M.Sp.S.

The celebration took place at our Claretian parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Chicago) beginning at 7:00pm followed by a festive reception with mariachi and fellowship.

The highlight of the ceremony was the very inspirational words by Bishop Gustavo as he delivered his homily, focusing on the Claretian call to mission and service to the people of God.

Along with a strong Claretian presence there was also a large representation of various men and women from religious communities.
