Perpetual professions: Rooted and audacious ministers of the Gospel

Oct 20, 2021 | ECLA, Indonesia - Timor Leste, Professions, Sanctus Paulus, Santiago

Madrid, Spain. Last Sunday, October 18, three Indonesian brothers, Arnaldus Yansen Feka CMF, Matheuz Soares CMF and Stevendus Marten Taek CMF, made perpetual profession in the Heart of Mary Church of Colmenar Viejo (Madrid) at eleven in the morning, surrounded by the People of God, by Claretian brothers, parents, and students, and by their families who could also participate joyfully through the Internet. They counted with the presence of their respective Provincials of the Province of Sanctus Paulus, Ricard Costa-Jussa CMF (Provincial of Arnaldo and Mateo) and of Santiago, Adolfo Lamata CMF (Provincial of Stevendus), who presided over the celebration.

The nerves gradually turned to joy as the celebration went on, the final congratulations, and the table shared in fraternal community. It is a mutual and immense joy that three young men decide to give their lives to the call that God made and continues to make to follow them in the style of our founder, St. Anthony Mary Claret, announcing the Gospel outside their homeland, in Claretian lands where vocations are not abundant today.

Let us pray for Arnold, Matthew and Stevendus, so that God may grant them fidelity and that they may follow in his footsteps, burning in charity and burning wherever they go. Being tireless mystics in action, men of fire. Rooted and audacious ministers of the Gospel.
