PMF Advanced 2022 Training Programme held in Nemi, Rome

The project training platform of the Claretian Missionaries conducted PMF Advanced 2022 training programme from 21 to 25 November in Nemi, Rome. The programme was conducted in a hybrid mode with online and onsite participants.

There were 59 participants in which 31 participants were present at Nemi and another 28 participated online and among them were 23 Priests, 17 Sisters , 11 Brothers and 8 lay collaborators. The Training was conducted in three languages namely English ( 30 participants), French ( 17 participants) and Spanish (10 participants). Most of the participants were from African Continent, followed by Asia and Latin America.

The Training dealt on preparing and managing large projects belonging to the public funders and European Union. Also formats of popular Catholic Donors were discussed in detail, such as Manos Unidas, Misereor and Italian Episcopal Conference. Consultants from renowned Project Management firms also taught the participants how to work projects with European Union and Fundraising types such as Legacy , Payroll, High Network Individuals and the use of social media were discussed. A city tour in the night and a Barbeque dinner also made the programme lively.

Fr. Lord Winner CMF, the Director of PRISMA also presented the Training Calendar of PRISMA for the Year 2023, where, one will find three Project Trainings namely Project Office 2023, PMF BASIC EFS2023 and PMF ADVANCED 2023. Next year PRISMA is also making a tie up with CAMECO, Germany to provide the Media Policy Training and with another networking with BEGECA to conduct the Renewable Energy Conference.

The letters PMF stands for Project Management and Fundraising Training which are conducted for beginners as PMF Basic and for those who are already experienced as PMF Advanced. PRISMA, the project training platform of the Claretian Missionaries has conducted four trainings this year for the Religious and the Diocesan Priests.
