Buenos Aires, Argentina. On Sunday the 8th of January, during the morning session, the first Chapter of the Province of San José del Sur elected Fr. Mario David Gutiérrez Medina, CMF as Major Superior for the 2102-2018 period.
Fr. Mario Gutiérrez (photo) was born in 1974 in Curanilahue, Chile and made his profession into the Congregation in 1997.
The rest of the government team is planned to be elected this same Sunday and the Chapter is expected to conclude on January 11th.
