Quinquenio 2010 en La India

LIFE-Dindigul. Quinquennium 2010 was organized by Chennai province in LIFE-Dindigul from 2nd to 9th August.

The theme for the program was “Consecrated Life with the living spirituality” Forty four young priests from all the four Indian organisms participated in it. Fr. M. Michael Mariadass CMF, Fr. M. Arul Jesu Robin CMF, Fr. S. Anselmus CMF, Fr. V. Bhyju were the resource persons who shared in different topics such as Claretian missionary- a man of God, Challenges in living the vows, prophetic dimension of Consecrated life, and fundamental traits of Claretian spirituality.

The first two days were dedicated to the fruitful strengthening sharing of the young missionaries in the mission field, in community living, in prayer and consecrated living. Fr. Jerome D’Souza, the prefect of spirituality from Bangalore province also participated in these sharing sessions. The partipants enjoyed a day out experience in the beautiful Kodaikanal hills. The evaluations of the participants speak in volume the fruitfulness of this program.

This program provided an opportunity for our young priests to know them better through their personal sharing and evaluation. These kind of sharing among themselves were very much encouraging and appreciated. It is an interiorizing experience for them. Most of them expressed their ministerial satisfaction. The sharing also brought out the challenges that they are facing in their lives.
