Vic, Spain. The 5th of April marked the beginning of a new course for 2011, “The Heart of Mary School for Formators”, at our house in Vic. It is set to conclude on June 24th.
It began with a Eucharist celebration presided by the General Prefect of Formation, Fr. Mathew Vattamattam, and concelebrated with the Vicar General, Fr. Paul Smyth, and Fr. Jesús Mª Palacios, Director of the CESC in Vic, and 20 Formator participants.
The course will last for three months and for this occasion will be conducted in Spanish.
The purpose of the course is to help those directly responsible for formation to deepen their experience in the central elements of our missionary charism. With this they may better respond to today’s demands which require this understanding.
