School of Vocation animators in Quito

Quito, Ecuador. From the 4 – 6th of May, at the headquarters of CER in Quito (Ecuador), the 4th module on vocation animation was held.

Fr. Juan Carlos Martos, CMF, General Secretary of Vocation Ministry directed the sessions. He was one of the instigators of this school which is celebrating one year of its existence this year; and with not only a satisfactory level of attendance (35 religious men and women and some laity), but also in the quality of its theoretical-practical content.

The invitation was made by Fr. César Arias, CMF, current coordinator of this School, which also has a personalized, online academic presence.

On this occasion there were three themes which addressed the planned agenda: Vocation Ministry according to ecclesial documents of Latin America; understandings and the current focus on vocations, and particularly, we spent time on the theoretical practical meaning of the vocational proposal.

These workshops require face-to-face participation of the participants, personal study, the completion of practical exercises, and certain written projects asked by the various professors who offer the classes.
