Serving the Community in Faith: Reunion of Lay Claretians in Seoul

Seoul, South Korea: After a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lay Claretians group in the Claretian community of Seoul held a reunion and meeting on 30 January 2023. The group, which gathers regularly for Bible study and sharing, was joined by the Delegate Superior, Fr. Manuel Ezhapparambil, Fr. Michal, Superior of the Seoul Community, and Fr. James Jose, who was in charge of the gathering.

The meeting started with a prayer and Bible sharing led by the Lay Claretian President Sicilia, followed by a short message from Fr. Manuel. The attendees shared their experiences during the pandemic, and the group evaluated their past activities and discussed plans for the future.

The meeting ended with the Agape and marked the beginning of a new year of activities for the Lay Claretians, including retreats for the laity in the community and support for other apostolates. The group looks forward to continuing its mission and serving the community in the years to come.
