“SIDHI” issues Diploma to its first batch

India. SIDHI (Society for Integrated Development and Human Interest), the initiative of Claretian to reach out to school dropouts in the Archdiouse of Delhi, started its first batch on July 20th, 2009, Supported by FVTRS funding Agency. SIDHI functions under the auspices of the claret Bhavan community at Dharuhera. Altogether 34 students comprising 22 girls and 12 boys are enrolled in the five courses Viz., Beauty culture, and Dress designing, Electrical, Plumbing, Spoken English, computer studies and driving.

With great joy and satisfaction SIDHI has issued diploma certificates to its first batch of students on 19th of January 2010. It was a great day of celebration in the presence of Rev. Fr. Josep Maria Abella Superior general of Claretians as the chief guest and Mr. Hitler Choudary Serpanch N.R.P Bass as the guest of honor. Fr. General issued the certificates, unveiled the new logo for the SIDHI and addressed the students and guests. The day was celebrated with colorful cultural programmes. Some of the Diploma holders have got good placements with different companies like RICO, Khajaria tiles etc.
