Catholic schools are built on the belief that education should be an integral part of a student’s development, nurturing them intellectually, spiritually, and morally. The role of education within families is paramount, and Catholic institutions play a vital role in shaping the future of society. Through their rigorous academic curriculums and emphasis on faith, Catholic schools offer students a unique educational experience that prepares them to overcome the challenges of the world.

The St. Claret School in Buringo, Mbarara diocese, was recently the center of attention as staff, pupils, and stakeholders gathered to celebrate significant milestones. On February 7, 2023, the school blessed a new classroom and office block and officially opened the primary section, marking a new chapter in the institution’s growth and progress.

Established in 2018, the St. Claret School is a Catholic institution that believes in integral education for its students’ intellectual, spiritual, and moral development. The school closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 lockdown, but it reopened in January 2022 and has since seen significant growth and progress. The new classroom and office block are a welcome addition to the school. The staff and pupils are excited to have the new space to teach and learn in. The block has modern facilities to enhance the student’s learning experience and help the school achieve its academic goals.

The opening of the primary section is another significant milestone for the school. With the addition of the new section, the school can now cater to younger children in the area, providing them with access to quality education. This move will also help the area’s development by providing more opportunities for children to receive an education.
