Bangalore, India. On October 3rd in Bangalore, India the English “Bicentennial Edition” of the Autobiography was presented to the Congregation – based on the original in Spanish first published in 2008 on the bicentennial of the birth of Claret.
Taking part in the translation, first undertaken by Fr. Joseph Daries over 30 years ago, were Fathers Rosendo Urrabazo and Jim Overend who, for the past three years, have worked on the revision of the text with all new footnotes, complementary writings, and two indices.
The publication of 2,000 copies was undertaken by Claretian Publications in Bangalore. In the next weeks it will be distributed to all of the Provinces and Delegations in the English-speaking world.
