Three Claretians make their final profession in Cameroon

May 10, 2022 | Cameroun

Bamenda, Cameroon. On Saturday, May 7, 2022, Fr. Jude Thaddeus Langeh, CMF, Major Superior of the Claretian Missionaries of Cameroun Independent Delegation received the final vows of Students Moise Moumassou, William Tolbert Ngakoutou, and Joseph Viseme, CMFF.

Fr. Jude Thaddeus encouraged them to remain faithful to their calling as Claretians and missionaries in the Church. He stressed the importance of fidelity to the Congregation and the need to imitate the virtues of our Founder, Saint Anthony Mary Claret, and the Blessed Claretian Martyrs. He encouraged them to rely on God, the author of vocation, to direct and guide them in the final step they have taken. Furthermore, he admonished them to be ready to accept any mission assigned to them for the good of the Church and the Congregation.

The Christians in Santa Parish and their parish priest, Fr. Placid Muntong, CMF, expressed their unalloyed gratitude to the Congregation for bringing this special event to their parish. Many youths and children attended the Mass and prayed together for more vocations in the Church.

The presence of several Claretians from the different regions of Cameroon and the Central African Republic graced the day and gave hope to the people of God, despite the crisis in the Northwest Region of Cameroon (Bamenda), to which the parish of Santa belongs.

We are grateful to God for yet gifting to the Church and the Claretian Family with missionaries who have willingly accepted to take the final step in their religious journey and life.
