Bata, Equatorial Guinea. On Saturday, October 25, 2025, as the Father XIFRÉ Delegation celebrated the Silver Jubilee of the founding of the Father José Xifré Formation House in Bata, Deacons Antonio José Nzoho NDONG ASUE, CMF, and Santos NZIÉ MBIAR, CMF, were ordained priests, while the student José Antonio Mba NKOGO BILOGO, CMF, received the diaconal ordination.
The ceremony took place at Mary Help of Christians Parish in Bata, Equatorial Guinea, through the laying on of hands by Most Rev. Miguel Angel Nguema BEE, SDB, Bishop of the Diocese of Ebibeyin and Apostolic Administrator of Bata, in the presence of several delegations from Malabo, Libreville, Oyem, as well as from nearby towns and villages.
In his homily, the bishop emphasized that those who receive ordination today are called to be ministers of Hope, bearers of the joy of the Gospel in a world undergoing constant change. The sacred ministry, he said, is not just one task among many, but rather a dignity that must be manifested daily by those who exercise it, always relying on the grace and assistance of God.
It was a colorful and emotional moment for the families, the Claretian family—well represented—and all the Claretian missionaries of the Father XIFRÉ Delegation.
We give thanks to God for the vocation and the generous response of our brothers, and we implore the Lord to make fruitful the diaconal and priestly ministry He has entrusted to His children in our Congregation.
