Together, A World Without Slavery and Human Trafficking, is Possible

Feb 8, 2022 | JPIC

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

February 8th is the feast of St. Josephine Bakhita who suffered trafficking and slavery as a child. Hence, this day is observed as a day of prayer and awareness against trafficking in person since 2015. The theme for this year is “The Power of Care-Women, Economics, Human Trafficking.”

On behalf of the Claretian Family, Peter Rwezahura, CMF, from Tanzania, has prepared the attached prayer reflection (English, French, and Spanish). We shall pray and work with the faith that Together, a world without slavery and human trafficking, is possible.
