Towards a More Multicultural and Harmonious Community

May 6, 2020 | Community Life, Congregation

Rome, Italy. In the spirit of the XXV General Chapter, in the desire to create a congregational culture wherein each one can enrich one another from each other’s cultural treasure, the General Government creates a course on Interculturality and Mission. It is primarily intended for Claretian missionaries sent to the universal mission and for their host Organism. It is not only envisioned to enrich the missionaries but also the place of mission.

Moderated and animated by Bro. Carlos Verga, CMF, the course available in Spanish and English languages, counts on the help of nine volunteer tutors from different parts of the Congregation. They are Joseph Kalakkal, Reegan Soosai, Antonio Llamas, Alonso Sánchez, Amos Moses Onyait, Antonio Reynante Alcántara, Desiderio Ching, Pascal-Eric Nzdié, Emmanuel Eyeowa Temidayo, CMFF.

Seventy-five from the list of missionaries sent to the universal mission and those living in a community with an intercultural context, the first batch, started already last Monday, May 4, 2020, and will run for ten weeks. The next installment will be in September.
