Transfer of the parishes of Pilcaniyeu-Comallo

Feb 11, 2010 | Community Life, Congregation

Argentina. The Claretian parishes María Auxiliadora and Virgen Misionera, of Pilcaniyeu-Comallo have been transferred to the Diocese of San Carlos de Bariloche, after being served for more than 40 years. The transfer has been made with simplicity,

but with the solemnity given by the huge turnout of the people that have wanted to express in this way their gratitude and their sorrow for this farewell. Present were the Pastor of the diocese and the Provincial Superior, both of whom explained the meaning of this transfer. The people will not lose the pastoral attentions that they need and wish.

In each Eucharistic celebration we had the opportunity to recall, from their beginning, the missionaries Amaranto Lovatto, Angel Ciccioli y José Schroeder, as well as other Claretians who are still active.

We think that this has been for us an exemplary process of revision of positions, always done in fraternal dialogue with the pastor and with our brothers of the South.
