With the youth, caring for and defending life: Second edition of the Claret-Life Award

The Claretian Missionaries have announced the launch of the call for the second edition of the Claret-Life Award, with the aim of promoting initiatives of defense and care for life that the Claretian Family promotes worldwide.

The presentation of the award is scheduled to take place during the World Youth Day WYD CLARET WAY 2023 in Portugal, and it seeks to give visibility and recognize significant initiatives that generate transformation processes in people and communities, motivated by the Gospel.

The first edition of the award, held in 2019, received nominations from Asia, Africa, America, and Europe, and distinguished the Casa de la Biosalud Claret de Arizona (Honduras), the projects of the Lay Claretians of Quibdó (Colombia) and the Claret Homes of Mexico. The candidatures for the second edition of the award can be presented from May 1st to June 20th, and the decision of the jury will be announced during the World Youth Day.

The Claret-Life Award reaffirms the commitment of the Claretian Missionaries in the defense and care of life, and their willingness to work with young people to enrich themselves with their values and dreams of a better humanity, fighting against hunger, poverty, and all kinds of injustice.

The call for the second edition of the Claret-Life Award shows the dedication of the Claretian Missionaries to promoting initiatives that defend and care for life, and their commitment to working with young people to create a better world. The award highlights the importance of recognizing those who are making significant contributions to the betterment of society and encourages others to follow in their footsteps.
