A Final “Yes” to Follow Christ in the Footsteps of Claret

Jul 17, 2020 | Professions, Santiago

Madrid, Spain. On July 16, with great joy and renewed vitality, Student Jorge Ruiz Aragoneses, CMF, of the Claretian Province of Santiago, made his Perpetual Profession during the Eucharist celebration presided over by Aquilino Cardinal Bocos, CMF. After almost ten years of Claretian formative experience lived in Colmenar Viejo, Granada, and Guantánamo, Jorge’s generous “yes” was received by Fr. Pedro Belderrain, CMF, Provincial Superior of Santiago. Jorge will combine his mission in the Provincial Pastoral Animation Team with his Master’s Degree studies in Dogmatic Theology at Comillas.

Religious celebrations in churches of Madrid are limited these days due to the pandemic. Nevertheless, a significant number of Claretian missionaries together with a good group of young adults from the various apostolic positions in which the Congregation is present in the capital of Spain joined and witnessed Jorge’s final vows.
