Mixco, Guatemala. On the last of the year 2019, the 2020 Novitiate initiation ceremony of nine postulants from four Major Organisms took place at the chapel of the Interprovincial Novitiate in Mixco. The new novices are Nov. Fidelino Hernández Baltazar, Pedro Celestino Báez Vásquez y Gilmer Sánchez Chán (Centroamérica Province); Nov. Edwar Mauricio Perafán Joaqui, Diego Musse Méndez, Cristian David Urbano Téllez y Andrés Gustavo Mejía Cuichán (Colombia Oriental – Ecuador Province); Nov. Eduardo González Martínez (México Province); and Nov. Salvador Luis Ferrandis Bellvís (Santiago Province)
This act was presided by Fr. Ismael Montero, CMF, Centroamérica Provincia Superior and Fr. José Camilo Minaya, CMF, of Antillas Independent Delegation. Together with them, the Novice Master, Fr. Santiago Najarro, CMF and other members of the Congregation as well as the seven novices who are to make their First Profession the day after.
As they begin this new stage of formation as missionary novices, we ask for the grace and prayer to carry out this work of God in them.
