Nigeria. Second Day: 26th January, 2010
The day started with the Mass said at 7am which was led by the outgoing Provincial Government. The Provincial Superior Fr. Simeon Nwobi was the chief celebrant while Fr. Bruno Onyekuru preached the homily.

At 9am the morning session began. And some congratulatory messages received from our members were read. Afterwards the group secretaries presented questions and observations on the Government and economic reports.

After the presentation by group secretaries, the Chapter Paper was presented by the pre-capitular committee secretary Fr. Philip Igbo. This was followed by personal study of the Chapter Paper. By 4pm the Provincial Government responded to the questions asked and afterwards the Chapter Delegates accepted and adopted the government and economic reports. Mission Superiors of Ghana, Cameroon and Kenya made 10minutes report on their missionary endeavours. Fr. Charles Amadi the Rector of TICLA also presented a report on the activities of the institute.

After the reports from missions, the Chapter president gave some guidelines on the development of the Chapter. He announced that the election of the Provincial Superior will take place on the third day being 27th of January, 2010.
