Krzydlina Mała, Poland. From April 13 to 16, 2026, at the Retreat House in Krzydlina Mała, Poland, a gathering of the Claretian missionaries of the Polish Province took place. It was the Claretian Renewal Days, which the Province celebrates each year after Easter. On this occasion, they were led by Fr. Anthony Igbokwe, CMF, Prefect of Formation and Spirituality of the Province of Santiago. The theme of this year’s Renewal Days was “interculturation.”
Nearly 30 Claretian missionaries took part in the workshops. For various reasons, mainly due to the language barrier, they had not been able to participate in the online course on interculturation.
Over the course of four days of intensive sessions, participants had the opportunity to explore contemporary ways of opening themselves to other cultures and their values. Through group exercises, as well as examples drawn from the life of Fr. Anthony Igbokwe, CMF, they were able to discover practical aspects of building relationships with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
The gathering took place in a very positive atmosphere of fraternity, prayer, and joy in being together. The closing Eucharistic celebration of the Renewal Days was presided over by Bishop Jacek Kiciński, CMF.
