Mombasa, Kenya. St. Charles Lwanga Independent Delegation Youth Ministry held a Claretian Youth Convention for the Kenyan Region on August 13 to 18, 2019 at the Holy Family Catholic Parish Kiembeni in Mombasa.
From Wednesday to Saturday the youth engaged in various activities: Eucharistic celebrations and other devotions like rosary, worship, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. There were also teaching sessions on the character of Jesus as youth and his spiritual growth; conflict management; leadership skills; human development and self-awareness; motivational talks; and presentation of educative videos. Moreover, games and other various bonding activities were held (football, bonfire, singing games, beach swimming, gala night, dinner together, and talent shows).
Indeed, they were very enriching experiences for the participants and at the same time an exposure for the young people of Kenya.
