Ilaro, Nigeria. From August 6 to 9, 2026, the Claretian Missionaries, Independent Delegation of West Nigeria, held the 2026 Claretian Youth Rally at Yewa Egbado College in Ilaro, Ogun State. Young people from various apostolates gathered for four days of prayer, formation, fellowship, and community activities under the theme, “Take Courage, I Have Overcome the World.”
Participants arrived on August 6, while the official opening took place the following day with the celebration of the Holy Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ilaro. Very Rev. Fr. Augustine Mab-Segun Medaiyedu-Ambrose, CMF, Major Superior, presided over the Eucharist in the presence of Claretian Missionaries and members of the youth community.
Throughout the gathering, participants took part in a variety of activities aimed at strengthening their faith, encouraging fraternity, and promoting personal and spiritual growth. The program included an evangelization match, moments of recollection, quizzes, sports activities, excursions, and counseling sessions.
