Guatemala City, Guatemala. The Encounter of the Prefects of Formation, in Guatemala is in progress and today, (16th May) having completed his topic on accompaniment, Fr. Rodolfo Morales CMF, continued his sessions on the concept of ‘Discernment’ in formation. He explained the concepts of accompaniment discernment from four discernment experiences of St. Claret, our Founder, ‘to uproot me from worldliness, to save the souls of my neighbors, to go forth and preach, send me anywhere in the world’. In the pre noon session Fr. Rodolfo explained to learn the discernment process from the Heart of Mary. And thirdly few discernment processes in the Scripture were taken up (Luke 15; 17-18, 25-32). Thus, two days of in-depth input sessions and group discussions on accompaniment and discernment in vocation and formation were concluded.
In the evening, the participants came in group to go through the 4th and 5th Chapters of the draft of the new GPF. In the concluding plenary the group secretaries presented the feedbacks on the chapters under discussion.
