Vic, Spain. The Encounter with Claret 2026 is being held from 24 February to 26 March 2026, gathering 16 English-speaking Claretians from different Organisms for a month of study, prayer, and pilgrimage centered on the life and mission of St. Anthony Mary Claret.

The programme aims to deepen participants’ understanding of Claret’s spirituality and missionary vision through intensive sessions and visits to significant Claretian sites. The Encounter unfolds in three phases in Vic, Barbastro, and Los Negrales, each offering historical and formative insights into the Congregation’s heritage.

Convoked by Rev. Fr. Carlos Sanchez, CMF, General Prefect of Spirituality and Community Life, the programme is coordinated by Fr. Sebin Babu, CMF, and Fr. Rohan Peires, CMF, members of CESC, Vic.

The Encounter was inaugurated on 25 February with the celebration of the Eucharist, presided over by Rev. Fr. Maxim Muños, CMF, Vicar Provincial of Sanctus Paulus. Fr. Juan Carlos Martos, CMF, Director of CESC, delivered the introductory talk, situating the experience within the Claretian spiritual and missionary tradition.
