Los Negrales, Spain. The 9th English edition of FORGE: Claretian Renewal Encounter opened on 20 September 2025 and will continue until 8 December 2025. Inspired by the experience narrated by our Founder in his Autobiography (n. 342), the Forge is not only the symbol of Claret’s own transformation into an apostolic missionary but also a characteristically missionary formative method at the heart of our tradition.
This year, 14 Claretians from 10 major organisms of the Congregation have come together to live this special time of renewal, fraternity, and missionary deepening.
The program was joyfully inaugurated with the Eucharist on 21 September 2025, presided over by Fr. Gonzalo Fernández Sanz, CMF, who has been closely connected with the history and development of the Forge over the years. His presence highlighted the fraternal and spiritual roots of this journey of renewal.
As participants set out on this path, the Forge continues to be a privileged space where missionaries allow themselves to be shaped anew by the Spirit, rekindling the fire of their vocation for the service of the Church and the Congregation.
